This is the most comprehensive type of report available. It is generally advisable to commission such a report on properties that pre-date modern Building Regulations that came into force in 1966 (apart from the Inner London Boroughs).

They are also advisable on properties with an unusual design / construction, in a dilapidated condition, where substantially altered / extended, or where renovation works are planned.
